Why I believe in the 2nd amendment!

In my opinion we have the 2nd amendment for the following reasons!
1. So this nation can have a militia, if needed, in a national crisis.
2. So citizens can protect themselves, their family, and their property from harm or loss.
3. Last of all, to protect us from our government if it infringes upon our rights.
