The bill SB-1594 that would have not allowed the carry of a concealed weapon on school property has been defeated on the Senate floor by a 15 to 14 vote. One Republican was excused or the vote would have been 16 to 14. ALL republicans voted against this bad legislation and all Democrats in the Senate except two ( Senator Betsy Johnson and Senator JoAnne Verger ) voted to prohibit your rights to excercise your 2nd Ammendment right. Be sure and thank them this next election and vote for their opponent in November.
